 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TXDOT will require closures of the IH-10 eastbound (EB) mainlanes through the Loop 1604 interchange, IH-10 westbound (WB) mainlanes through the Loop 1604 interchange, the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes through the IH-10 interchange, the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes through the IH-10 interchange, the Loop 1604 EB frontage road between the IH-10 EB and WB frontage roads, and the Loop 1604 WB frontage road between the IH-10 WB and EB frontage roads. These closures will be in place for bridge construction.
The closures are expected to last from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22 2024, weather permitting. This is a full weekend closure and these lanes are expected to
remain closed for the full duration. Local law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time.
DETOUR INFORMATION
IH-10 EB mainlanes
Travelers on the IH-10 EB mainlanes looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will exit to the IH-10 EB frontage road after La Cantera Parkway and follow the IH-10 EB frontage road through the interchange. Travelers will re-enter the IH-10 EB mainlanes at the first entrance ramp after the Loop 1604 interchange.
IH-10 WB mainlanes
Travelers on the IH-10 WB mainlanes looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will exit to the IH-10 WB frontage road after UTSA Boulevard and follow the IH-10 WB frontage road through the interchange. Travelers will re-enter the IH-10 WB mainlanes at the first entrance ramp after the Loop 1604 interchange.
Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and frontage road
Travelers on the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes looking to continue through the IH-10 interchange will exit at the Vance Jackson Road exit ramp to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Travelers will follow the signs for IH-10 EB and continue on the IH-10 EB frontage road to the U-turn at UTSA Boulevard. Travelers will follow the IH-10 WB frontage road back to the Loop 1604 EB frontage road, entering the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes at Vance Jackson Road.
Loop 1604 WB mainlanes and frontage road
Travelers on the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes looking to continue through the IH-10 interchange will exit at the IH-10 exit ramp to enter the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. Travelers will follow the signs for IH-10 WB and continue on the IH-10 WB frontage road to the U-turn at La Cantera Parkway. Travelers will follow the IH-10 EB frontage road back to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road, entering the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes after Valero Way.

Vance Jackson Road Northbound and Southbound Lanes at the Loop 1604 Bridge
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Vance Jackson Road Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) lanes at the bridge over Loop 1604 for steel girders for direct connector.
The full nightly closures will begin Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Loop 1604 Westbound (WB) frontage road to Vance Jackson Road SB
Loop 1604 westbound (WB) frontage road traffic to Vance Jackson Road SB and Vance Jackson Road SB traffic itself will take the Loop 1604 WB frontage road to turnaround at the IH-10 intersection and continue on the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) frontage road back to Vance Jackson Road SB.
Loop 1604 EB frontage road to Vance Jackson Road NB
Loop 1604 EB frontage road traffic to Vance Jackson Road NB and Vance Jackson Road NB traffic itself will take the Loop 1604 EB frontage road to utilize the turnaround at the Lockhill Selma Road intersection and continue on the WB frontage road back to Vance Jackson Road NB.

Loop 1604 Eastbound Mainlanes from the Blanco Road Exit Ramp to the Stone Oak Parkway Entrance Ramp
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes from the Blanco Road exit ramp to the Stone Oak Parkway entrance ramp for EB mainlane deck pour over Panther Springs Creek.
The full nightly closures will begin Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 at 9 p.m. through Sunday Jan. 21, 2024 at 12 p.m., weather permitting.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes
Loop 1604 EB mainlane traffic will utilize the Blanco Road exit ramp and continue on the EB frontage road through the Blanco Road and Stone Oak Parkway intersections, then re-enter the EB mainlanes via the entrance ramp east of Stone Oak Parkway.
