 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will have alternating lane closures on the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes between Kyle Seale Parkway and the entrance ramp after Bandera Road and the Loop 1604 WB entrance ramp after Hausman Road for an entrance ramp reversal. Additionally, the Loop 1604 WB exit ramp to Bandera Road and the exit ramp to Braun Road will be fully closed. WB traffic looking to access Bandera Road or Braun Road will be directed to detour off the mainlanes onto the frontage road during this closure.
The closure will occur Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 at 5 a.m, weather permitting.
The existing entrance ramp from Hausman Road will close permanently while the new permanent entrance ramp from Hausman Road will open simultaneously at the conclusion of the weekend lane closures.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Between Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 18, 2023 at 5:00 a.m., Loop 1604 WB mainlane travelers looking to access Bandera Road or Braun Road will exit at Kyle Seale Parkway and continue on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road to Bandera Road or Braun Road.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 15, 2023 at 5:00 a.m., travelers will use the new permanent entrance ramp from Hausman Road just west of the previous Hausman Road entrance ramp. Travelers will no longer be able to access the previous entrance ramp from Hausman Road.
