 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will require a full closure of the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes from the Vance Jackson Road exit ramp to the Lockhill Selma Road entrance ramp, a full closure of the westbound (WB) mainlanes from Lockhill Selma Road to IH-10, a closure of the IH-10 west-bound (WB) mainlane exit ramp/direct connector to Loop 1604 EB mainlanes, and the IH-10 EB cloverleaf exit ramp (southwest cloverleaf) to the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes. These closures will be in place to mobilize crane from WB to EB side and set girders for the EB direct connector to IH-10.
The closures are expected to occur nightly: Monday, Oct. 30, 2023 at 11 p.m. until Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023 at 1 a.m., and Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023 at 9 p.m. until Friday, Nov. 3, at 5 a.m., weather permitting. Local law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes
Traffic traveling on the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes will exit at the Vance Jackson Road exit ramp and continue on the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Traffic will be able to re-enter highway at the Lockhill Selma Road entrance ramp.
IH-10 WB to Loop 1604 EB
Traffic traveling westbound on IH-10 will take the frontage road exit ramp (just north of UTSA Boulevard) and continue on the frontage road to Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Traffic will be able enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes using the Lockhill Selma Road entrance ramp.
IH-10 EB to Loop 1604 EB
Traffic traveling eastbound on IH-10 will take the frontage road exit ramp (just south of La Cantera Parkway) and continue on the frontage road to Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Traffic will be able enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes using the Lockhill Selma Road entrance ramp.

Loop 1604 Westbound Mainlanes from Lockhill Selma Road
to IH-10
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp to the IH-10 interchange to place to mobilize crane from WB to eastbound (EB), place overhangs and deck panels as well as set girders on the WB direct connector to IH-10. Note - the closure will occur at various times throughout the night depending on what work needs to be accomplished.
The full closure will occur nightly beginning Monday, Oct. 30, 2023 through Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Off-duty officers will direct traffic through intersections, as needed.
DETOUR INFORMATION
WB mainlane travelers will exit via the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp. Traffic will continue on the WB frontage road through the Lockhill Selma Road, Vance Jackson Road, and IH-10 intersections and can re-enter the WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of IH-10.
