Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at 5 a.m.

• Loop 1604 Eastbound Mainlanes through the IH-10 Interchange PARTIAL CLOSURE (LEFT LANE ONLY)

• Loop 1604 Westbound Mainlanes through the IH-10 Interchange PARTIAL CLOSURE (LEFT LANE ONLY)

• Loop 1604 Eastbound Frontage Road through the IH-10 Interchange PARTIAL CLOSURE (RIGHT LANE ONLY)

• Loop 1604 Eastbound Mainlane Exit Ramp/Direct Connector to IH-10 Eastbound Mainlanes

• IH-10 Eastbound Frontage Road under Loop 1604

WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will require a partial closure of the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes through the IH-10 interchange (left lane only), a partial closure of the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes through the IH-10 interchange (left lane only), and a partial closure of the Loop 1604 EB frontage road through the IH-10 interchange (right lane only). In addition, the IH-10 EB frontage road under Loop 1604 will be fully closed as well as a closure of the Loop 1604 EB exit ramp/direct connector to IH-10 EB mainlanes. These closures will be in place for bridge construction.

The closures are expected to last from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, weather permitting. Local law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time.

DETOUR INFORMATION

IH-10 EB frontage road

Traffic traveling EB on the IH-10 frontage road at the Loop 1604 interchange will be directed to travel on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road to the signalized turnaround at La Cantera Parkway. Traffic will then take the Loop 1604 EB frontage road and follow the frontage road exit to IH-10 EB.

Loop 1604 EB to IH-10 EB

Traffic traveling on Loop 1604 EB mainlanes looking to access IH-10 EB will exit just after La Cantera Parkway to the Loop 1604 EB frontage road and follow the frontage road exit to IH-10 EB.
