 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will close the right travel lane on the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from W. Hausman Road to Bandera Road and the left lane on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road from W. Hausman Road to Bandera Road for striping. Additionally, TxDOT will permanently close the existing Loop 1604 WB exit ramp to Bandera Road while simultaneously opening a new, temporary exit ramp for travelers exiting to Bandera Road, just east of the existing entrance ramp.
The lane closures will begin on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 at 9 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 15 at 5 a.m., weather permitting. The new temporary exit ramp in the new location will be open to travelers at the conclusion of the lane closures, by Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 at 5 a.m.
Travelers will have access to the existing Bandera Road exit ramp throughout the lane closures. The existing Bandera Road exit ramp will close permanently while the new temporary Bandera Road exit ramp will open simultaneously at the conclusion of the lane closures.
