The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) adopts rules in the April 24, 2026, issue of the Texas Register. The adopted rules are available on the TxDMV website at https://www.TxDMV.gov/about-us/general-counsel/proposed-and-adopted-rules-2025.
The adoptions include:
- revisions to 43 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 211, relating to implementation of SB 1080, 89th Legislative Session; and cleanup; and
- revisions to 43 TAC, Chapter 218, relating to cleanup.
