Inventory Management System - Dealer Release Notes 9.0.6 (Snapshot) (03/19/2026 @ 2:47 PM)

Good afternoon,

On the evening of March 19, 2026, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will update
the Inventory Management System (IMS) with Release 9.0.6 (Snapshot) which contains the content
summarized below: 

Enhancements:

•   View Inventory

          A new Plate Status filter (Available, Unavailable, All) was added to help dealers more easily
          identify usable inventory and navigate the system more efficiently.

•   Shipment Tracking

           Tracking numbers are now clickable, allowing users to quickly access real-time shipment
           updates.

•   Reporting

           Reporting enhancements allow dealers to run Inventory Inquiry Reports at both the GDN
           and location level, filter by plate type, and export results to Excel. Improvements were also
           made to plate range grouping for better accuracy.
