Good morning,

On the evening of Thursday, March 9, 2023, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles
(TxDMV) will update the Registration and Titling System (RTS) with Release 23.2.1 which
contains the content summarized below. 

 

Enhancements:  

RTS

  • RF 298134: Request for all RSCs to have RTS CORE functionality 

 webDealer    

  • Enable Trailer Carry Capacity
  • Indicator to allow auction dealers to bypass eTAG Inspection
    Verification
  • Additional VIN Decoding when no TX record exists
  • Additional VIN Decoding when there is a TX record
  • Other bug fixes 

eLicensing

  • eTAG contact must be owner or management
  • Other bug fixes
