Planned Maintenance: 72-Hour & 144-Hour Permits (08/12/2002 04:00 PM)

Good afternoon,

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is planning system maintenance
to address issues relating to the RTS Point-of-Sale (POS) 72-Hour and 144-Hour
permits functionality.  The maintenance is scheduled for this evening, Friday,
August 12, 2022, starting at 10:30 PM, lasting up to 11:59 PM.  You may experience
intermittent connectivity to the RTS POS system during the maintenance window.

Update Details:

   •  Remove USDOT email verification from the 72hr/144hr web permit

   •  Update error message details for 72hr/144hr web permit
