As of today, April 6, 2021, the Wynne Unit in Huntsville is under lockdown status. This is a routine lockdown. At this time, TDCJ anticipates being in lockdown status through the week and possibly into next week.
No special plate orders will be filled or shipped until the lockdown is over. Small emergency orders received through allocations will be filled. Emergency orders consist of warehouse items (non-special plates) that will sustain a county or region that is near depletion for a few days. These orders must be kept to a minimum as they will be shipped FedEx.
An update to the lockdown status will be provided as information is received from TDCJ.
