Chapter 3 – Rebuilt and Reconstructed Vehicles Section 3.1, “Application for Title and Supporting Documentation,” was updated to include information stating an applicant is not required to provide a Vehicle Inspection Report when applying for Custom Vehicle or Street Rod license plates and to specify the “VIN Certification Waived” remark is applied to the record in these situations if there is not a Texas record.
Chapter 4 – Replicas Section 4.1, “Application for Title and Supporting Documentation,” was updated to include information stating an applicant is not required to provide a Vehicle Inspection Report when applying for Custom Vehicle or Street Rod license plates and to specify the “VIN Certification Waived” remark is applied to the record in these situations if there is not a Texas record.
Chapter 15 – Assigned and Reassigned Vehicles This chapter was deleted, and the information moved to Chapter 13 of the Motor Vehicle Title Manual in the October 2017 revision.
