TDLR Withdraws Proposed Rule Changes

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation withdraws proposed amendments to existing rules at 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 84, Subchapter A, §84.2 and §84.3; Subchapter C, §§84.40, 84.43, 84.44, 84.46; Subchapter D, §84.50; Subchapter E, §84.60 and §84.63; Subchapter G, §84.80; and Subchapter N, §84.600 and §84.601; new rules at Subchapter D, §84.51 and §84.52; Subchapter M, §§84.500-84.505; and the repeal of existing rules at Subchapter D, §84.51 and §84.52; and Subchapter M, §§84.500-84.502 and §84.504 regarding the Driver Education and Traffic Safety (DES) program, which appeared in the August 16, 2024, issue of the Texas Register (49 TexReg 6106). The withdrawal notice will publish in the August 30, 2024, issue of the Texas Register. The same proposed rule changes will be republished in the August 30, 2024 issue to include the DES Program Guides that were inadvertently omitted from the August 16, 2024 publication.
