DCTA June 15 Public Meeting Goes Digital
It’s time for our riders to give feedback on our upcoming proposed changes for our upcoming June public meeting that will be entirely online! Visit the public engagement page on our website to read the proposed changes, view our presentation and give feedback.
We have numerous projects happening in the next few months and need passenger feedback to enhance service and projects for the many communities we serve. Some of the proposed changes include:
- Permanent Suspension of Denton Connect Routes 5 and 8
- Permanent Frequency Reduction to Denton and Lewisville Connect Bus System
- A-train Weekday Service Moving to Saturday Schedule
- Permanent Microtransit On-Demand Service at the Downtown Denton Transit Center
- University of North Texas (UNT) Service Updates
- Title VI Analysis

Celebrate #NationalSafetyMonth and Stay Safe When You #RideDCTA
Did you know June is #NationalSafetyMonth? Observed annually by National Safety Council, #NationalSafetyMonth focuses on saving lives and preventing injuries, from the workplace to anyplace. The safety of our passengers and employees is our number one priority. Stay tuned for our tips and helpful resources we plan to feature throughout the month on how to stay safe when you #RideDCTA. We will provide safety tips for riding our A-train and buses and using our A-train Rail Trail and biking safely each week this month.

DCTA is Here to Help You Get Back to Work Safely in the “New Normal”
As Texas begins to reopen and businesses and offices return to the “new normal”, we know our passengers are concerned about their health and safety. We are taking precautions to ensure our vehicles are safe and clean for passengers who are returning to work using public transit. In addition, we recommend passengers wear a face covering and to practice social distancing whenever possible on our vehicles.
