Bike Loading and Safety Tips

How to Load Your Bike Video

It’s easy to bring your bike on board when you #RideDCTA! You can use the bike racks on the front of many of our buses. Bikes may be taken on-board our A-train and on buses not equipped with exterior racks. If priority seating is needed for other riders, you may be asked to move, wait for the next trip, or utilize one of the bike racks located at the Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) or any A-train station.

Travel Training Program

Our Travel Training program gives you the skills, confidence and independence to get where you need to go! We provide personal, step-by-step instruction to senior citizens and those with disabilities on how to effectively use the DCTA system. Our program walks individuals through travel via DCTA Connect Bus, Connect Shuttle, the A-train, specified zones and Access service.

Operation Lifesaver

Read up on rail safety at Operation Lifesaver. They work to end collisions, deaths and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad property through a nationwide network of volunteers who work to educate people about rail safety.

Want a more personal training for your office, school or community? We offer a free Rail Ready program to educate community members and help keep you safe around the A-train and tracks.
