 Attend Our November Open House Meetings (Proposed New Fare Structure)
We're hosting open house meetings in November to share the agency’s proposed new fare structure slated to launch next January 2019, which includes lower permanent fare prices, new and updated fare programs and easier fare structure for riders. Below are dates and times for the meetings:

Lewisville – meeting will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lewisville Community Resource Expo – Next Steps Center (1305 TX-121 BUS)

Highland Village – meeting will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Highland Village’s Fall Festival at Unity Park (2200 Briarhill Blvd)

Denton – two meetings will be held at the following locations:
- Thursday, November 8, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC) in the lobby area (604 East Hickory St.)
- Saturday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Denton Welcome Center on the Square (111. W. Hickory Street)
For those who are unable to attend the open house meetings, DCTA has information online that provides key details on the agency’s proposed new fare structure available at RideDCTA.net from Monday, October 29, until Friday, November 16.

 #RideDCTA Free on Election Day 2018
For the 2018 election, voters will get a chance to exercise their free ride to the polls. On Tuesday, November 6, we're providing free rides on Election Day to help people get out and vote. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and select DCTA services will be free all day. No proof of voter registration or destination is required to ride DCTA free.

 DCTA Offering Free Rides on Veterans Day
We're honor veterans and military personnel with free rides on Monday, November 12 – the official day in which the federal government will observe Veterans Day. To receive free rides all day, veterans and active military personnel must show their military ID, state-issued ID with veteran/military designation or discharge papers to DCTA bus and rail operators.
