Officers will arrest persons with outstanding
City of Dallas warrants
What: The
Dallas City Marshal’s Office will join law enforcement agencies across North
Texas for the annual state-wide warrant roundup for Class C offenses. Officers will arrest people with unresolved
traffic and non-traffic citations and warrants pending before their respective
courts.
Offenders who are delinquent in satisfying
their City of Dallas warrants are subject to a
hold being placed on the renewal of their vehicle registration with the Texas
Department of Motor Vehicles (Scofflaw Program) or being arrested and
jailed. In Dallas and other cities, drivers may also be
subject to denial of their driver's license renewal.
Persons with
outstanding citations in the City of Dallas may avoid arrest and vehicle
registration holds by resolving their citations in person at 2014 Main Street,
Dallas, Texas between 7:30 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (wheelchair
access is at 2014 Main Street).

contact Chief Deputy Marshal Paul Hansen at (214) 670-6804 or report to the Dallas
Marshal's Office/ City Detention Center, 1600 Chestnut St. There will be a
short briefing at 6 a.m. Media representatives will then be directed to a
pre-determined location and the roundup will begin.
