Park Department To Create Recreation Master Plan

Citizens can share ideas at community meetings planned for August 5-7

 

Dallas Park and Recreation Department will hold several community for residents to share ideas about the future growth and expansion of Dallas’ recreational programs and facilities. The department is in the first phase of developing a recreation master plan as well as updating its overall comprehensive strategy known as the Renaissance Plan.  

 

The public can attend any of five meetings set to begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday  through Thursday at City of Dallas recreation centers. Times and locations listed below. Or go to www.dallasparks.org or call 214.670.4100 for more information.

Park and reception staff will lead the meetings that will give individuals and groups the opportunity to share comments, ask questions about the strategic planning process, and hear a summary of the department’s progress toward the Renaissance Plan.
