Dallas to be host city for National Baptist Congress Annual Session;

Press conference will be held April 10 at Dallas City Hall


WHAT:
 

National Baptist Congress leaders and Dallas officials will announce Dallas as the host city for the 108th Session of the National Baptist Congress to be held June 8 to 13. This will mark the second time the Congress has been held in Dallas in the past six years. Dr. T. B. Boyd III, President and Chief Executive Officer of R.H. Boyd Publishing Corporation and the National Baptist Congress, will be in Dallas to increase awareness of the National Baptist Congress, provide information and encourage involvement in this year’s 108th Annual Session.

 

The event is expected to bring up to 12,000 African American attendees to Dallas, and result in a potential boost of more than $7 million to the city economy. The Sheraton Dallas Hotel is the official venue host for the six-day Congress/
