Spring is almost here! Volunteer to help spruce up a City of Dallas park!

  

Dallas Park and Recreation Department is calling on you to help make a city park cleaner and greener for It’s My Park Day from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, March 29, 2014.

 

It’s My Park Day is a citywide community service initiative to enhance Dallas parks. Individuals, families, homeowners’ associations, companies and civic groups are invited to organize and participate in beautification & clean-up activities at parks throughout Dallas. Specifically, citizens organize volunteer projects at a park in their community to help with litter and debris pick-up, weeding & mulching. Some groups include live music, an educational component, a picnic or other activities.

 

Everybody can be an It's My Park Day volunteer! Individuals, families, homeowners’ associations, friends groups, civic clubs, service organizations, youth groups, churches and corporate employee teams are encouraged to sign up.
