Dallas Love Field, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Park and Recreation to Celebrate Midway Manor Park Grand Reopening

What

Dallas Love Field, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Park and Recreation invite media to a ribbon-cutting of Midway Manor Park – a transformed, co-sponsored recreational space adjacent to the team’s hometown airport. The 1.3-acre park was reenvisioned into a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood amenity for families, children, and fitness enthusiasts.

The park’s resurfaced basketball court now boasts a Dallas Mavericks-branded design, showcasing the team’s signature blue and green colors.

Additionally, the space features:

  • A jungle gym, playground tower, and digital interactive play experience
  • Three aviation-themed play structures honoring the city's rich history
  • Multiple fitness stations for public workouts
  • The addition of 40 new trees and shrubs, enhancing the park’s landscaping

This celebration marks the completion of a 1.5-year renovation project, designed to enhance outdoor play, fitness, and community engagement.

Live photo and video opportunities will be available. RSVPs are not required but appreciated.
