First Small Business Assistance Program Grant Awarded

Dallas Printing is the first awardee under the City’s Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP), a new program approved by the Dallas City Council in January 2025 to support small businesses that locate or expand their businesses in Dallas. 

Relocating to an owner-operated space at 7038 Greenville Avenue, Dallas Printing is undertaking a substantial renovation of its commercial property.

“The Small Business Assistance Program from the City of Dallas has been very helpful to Dallas Printing,” said Craig Wiese, the President of Dallas Printing. “The SBAP enabled us to accelerate our expansion plans by adding capacity and capabilities faster than we otherwise would have been able to do.”

Dallas Welcomes Scotiabank to Y'all Street

On August 27, 2025, City Council approved an economic development incentive package to support Scotiabank's expansion in Dallas, the creation of more than 1,000 new jobs in Victory Park and more than $60 million in capital investment. The City's incentive package included a $2.5 million performance-based grant and a business personal property tax abatement. 

Scotiabank, a multi-national financial services provider and one of the largest banks in North America, will create a major regional office in Dallas.
