Dallas Power and Light

Power & Light at Cedars, Mixed-Income Redevelopment Project Moves Forward

On June 12th, Dallas City Council approved a Chapter 380 economic development grant agreement not to exceed $1,854,995 to support the Power & Light Project @ Cedars, a transformative mixed-income, multi-family development in the Cedars neighborhood, just outside downtown Dallas. 

The total cost of the project is estimated at $83.5 million. Once completed, this redevelopment project is set to deliver 310 mixed-income residential units, of which 50% will be reserved for renters with low and moderate incomes. Read more>>


Healthy Food Dallas

Funding Opportunity! 💵 Dallas Development Fund just opened its 4th round of funding under the Healthy Food Dallas Initiative! Funds are available for non-profits providing free or low-cost healthy food options for projects in target locations in Dallas and are awarded as a forgivable loan. The maximum award is $70,000, and applications are due July 12. The Notice of Funding Availability for applying is available here.
