Don't miss the Dallas Equitable Development Initiative! Developers of color: apply through May 6

Applications for the 2022 Dallas Equitable Development Initiative close on May 6. Be sure to apply!
Our Equitable Development Initiative in Dallas gives local real estate developers of color the opportunity to participate in community development and revitalization efforts currently taking place across the city.

Historically, the real estate industry has been dominated by larger national and global firms. Developers of color face significant barriers to entering the real estate space due to the lack of access to capital, equity and experience – the result of generations of structural racism and disinvestment.
Capital Impact Partners’ Equitable Development Initiative prepares emerging developers of color to pursue affordable housing projects and play a larger role in shaping Dallas’ development landscape. In addition, EDI promotes equitable community development, particularly affordable housing for communities of color.
