Dallas Canines Get New Play Area at Crockett Park
City's 5th Dog Park Officially Opens Today
East Dallas canines and their family and friends today celebrate the opening of Dallas' newest park. The latest addition to the city's park system is a 1.25 acre off-leash park located in old east Dallas. Canine residents will enjoy separate play areas for large and small dogs, drinking fountains, dog washes and pet waste stations. The neighborhood-oriented park is within walking distance from many residential areas in old East Dallas and near Baylor Scott and White Hospital, numerous professional offices and outpatient facilities.
