Virtural Learning Hubs Open Sept. 8 at 33 recreation centers
City of Dallas recreation centers will open Virtual Learning Hubs for Dallas students in grades 1-6. VLHs are supervised work spaces for students to participate in their virtual classrooms. #DallasParks staff will assist with technical difficulties and keep students focused on their classwork. VLH times are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Free skills clinics get under way at three Dallas parks
Free soccer skills clinics for ages 6-12! Youth must bring a soccer ball, water bottle and face mask.
Pollinator BioBlitz events get under way all this month!
It's easy to participate: Download the iNaturalist app and join the “Dallas Park and Recreation Department: NRPA 2020 Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz” project. Next, visit any of Dallas park & get pics/details (called observations) of birds, insects, plants, trees, bees & other pollinators!
