Park employees maintain connections to seniors with care bags

This week, city park employees are delivering 1,000 care bags to Dallas senior adults

(DALLAS) - Dallas Park and Recreation Department is providing Dallas' most treasured residents with care packages.

This week, staff from the department's senior adult program are going to the doorsteps of area seniors to drop off goody bags filled with healthy snacks, sanitizer, water, coloring books, and other needed items.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today through Friday, April 10, employees are going through designated Dallas neighborhoods on DART vans to deliver the bags. 

More than 1,000 bags will be delivered at the end of this week.
