Dallas Park and Recreation, Target, and U.S. Soccer Foundation to Unveil New Mini-Pitch at Lake Cliff Park
WHAT:
Unveiling of a new mini-pitch at Lake Cliff Park. This mini-pitch is one of five to come to the Dallas Park and Recreation Department through a partnership with Target and the U.S. Soccer Foundation, whose efforts are to build 100 mini-pitches nationwide by 2020.
The new mini-pitches are significant because this partnership has given underutilized municipal tennis courts new purposes. They also mark the latest development in the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s It’s Everyone’s Game national movement to ensure children in underserved communities can enjoy the health and youth development benefits of the game.
