The City of Dallas is excited to announce that it has engaged Bonfire Interactive to launch a new electronic procurement portal.  This portal will be activated March 1, 2019, and it will allow you to receive notifications of business opportunities and submit solicitation responses to the City of Dallas digitally.

The City currently has solicitations with various timelines and due dates.  Please be aware that any solicitations closing in the City’s current Vendor Self Service system after March 7th will be moved to the new Bonfire system.  Therefore, vendors who are currently engaged in a solicitation with a closing date on or after March 7th will be required to log into Bonfire in order to submit their response.

In order to receive notifications and be able to submit responses digitally, all vendors will be required to register on this new portal even if you may already be registered as a vendor with the City of Dallas.  Our current platform bids.dallascityhall.com will be deactivated in the near future, so please ensure to register with Bonfire promptly.  Please click the following link to complete this simple and free registration: https://dallascityhall.bonfirehub.com/login.

For instructions on how to complete the registration process please click on the following link: Vendor Registration you may also contact Twana Banks with the Office of Procurement Services at (214) 670-0722 or one of our Office of Business Diversity Coordinators, Laura Hurtado at (214) 243-2130 for more information.

When registering your business on this new portal please be sure to select more than one NIGP commodity code for your business.  Business opportunities solicited by the City utilize these codes to connect the solicitation with the right business.

The City of Dallas is excited about this partnership with Bonfire which will provide a more efficient bidding process for the City as well as its valuable vendor community.  We appreciate your patience through the transition process but know that the end result will be beneficial to all of our vendors and partners.

Sincerely,

 Juanita Ortiz
