Individuals, families, community groups and corporate teams can keep Dallas green for It's My Park Day. The annual citywide cleanup is 9 a.m. to noon on April 21 at various Dallas parks. It's My Park Day volunteers will participate in litter removal, mulching, weeding and common area maintenance projects. Dallas Park and Recreation will provide supplies including gloves, shovels and other small tools.

City summer camps offer X-STREAM fun!
Dallas Park and Recreation summer camps will take fun to the X-STREAM and will get ages 5-12 excited about Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Math. X-STREAM activities will let campers learn and have fun from June 11 – August 3. Parents can register onsite at Dallas recreation centers on Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Online registration begins Monday, April 9 at DallasParks.org! Youth who love spending time outdoors every day will enjoy Send A Kid to Camp. This free camp offers ages 6-15 adventures at 19 park sites. Send a Kid to Camp runs from June 11 to July 27. Go to DallasParks.org to find a Send a Kid to Camp site.
Annual report tells how parks and recreation programs enrich Dallas communities
Using photos and infographics, Dallas Park and Recreation Department's annual report vividly captures how parks, conservation programs, and recreational activities create desirable and livable Dallas neighborhoods.
Focusing on fiscal year 2016-2017, the report includes the department's national accreditation in the park and recreation industry, record-breaking event and program attendance, unique health and wellness activities, new recreational facilities and trails, and innovative environmental management strategies.
