Indiana marketing firm moving its operations to Dallas

An Indiana-based marketing firm is moving its operations to Dallas. LST Marketing is relocating its head office to the Travis Walk building, located in Dallas' Knox Street district. CEO Starke Taylor said "We have clients in Dallas and we realized we needed to have a bigger presence here." He expects to move into the new offices by early spring. New data shows Dallas area job market is the best in the country

Among the dozen largest metropolitan areas in the U.S., Dallas had both the highest job growth rate and the most jobs added from November 2016 to November 2017. That's according to new information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Source: Dallas Business Journal, January 11, 2018.

Ross Avenue density brings in three local spots

A development at Ross and Hall is remaking the corner with a trio of establishments that cater to the young professionals flooding the area. Warehouse construction hits new high in Dallas area with more on the way

City of Dallas Unemployment Rate

  • The preliminary unemployment rate as reported by the Texas Workforce Commission for the City of Dallas for December 2017 remained at 3.3 percent. The rate reflects minimal increases in the size of the city's labor force (383 residents) and the number of unemployed Dallas residents (112 residents).
  • December was the 34th consecutive month that the reported unemployment rate within the City of Dallas has outperformed both the national and state's unemployment rate.
