Buckner Park

The popular Dallas park has been completely redesigned.

Now, it features a picnic pavilion, play area, tennis court and walking paths through a grassy meadow. Lush landscaping and expanded green space and lawns add to the park's natural beauty.

Dallas Independent School District provided a playground and other amenities for the park, which is adjacent to an elementary school.

Joining east Dallas residents for a ribbon-cutting will be Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano, Dallas Park and Recreation Board President Robert Abtahi and Board Member Jesse Moreno.
