TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Thursday, September 9, 2017

Please be advised, the City of Dallas – Office of Special Events has issued a special event permit for Dallas Heart Walk on Saturday, September 9 at 9 a.m. The event begins at Reunion Lawn at 692 Sports St. It has a projected attendance of 40,000 people. 

Road closures related to this special event will impact traffic near Reunion, Dallas City Hall and surrounding downtown areas.                                                                                                

The following streets will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.

• Hotel St. – All lanes closed between North Dr. and Memorial Dr.
• Memorial Dr. – All lanes closed between Hotel St. and Griffin St.
• Griffin St. – Only northbound lanes closed between Memorial Dr. and Young St.
• Young St. – Only eastbound lanes closed between Griffin St. and Harwood St.
• Hardwood St. – All lanes closed between Young St. and Woodall Rodgers Freeway access road
• Woodall Rodgers Freeway access road – All lanes closed between Harwood St. and Griffin St. on the south side of Klyde Warren Park
• Griffin St. – northbound lanes closed from Woodall Rogers Freeway to Commerce St. and southbound lanes closed from Commerce St. to Wood St.
• Wood St. – All lanes closed from Griffin St. to Houston St.
• Houston St. – All lanes closed from Wood St. to Reunion Blvd.
• Reunion Blvd. – All lanes closed from Houston St. to Hotel St.
• Hotel St. to the Dallas Heart Walk finish, near North Dr.
