After a
20-year absence, The Texas Police Games will hold their 2017 Games in Dallas
June 10-17 at various venues throughout the city.
Hosted by the Texas Police
Athletic Federation (TPAF), a 501 c3 non-profit, the annual Games are “Olympic”
style competitive sporting events for sworn peace officers and their
guest. All events are free to the public.
There will be 25 events
including, basketball, soccer, track, and more. The event highlights will
include the Motorcycle Rodeo, CrossFit and Weight Lifting.

winner Border Patrol Officer Matthew McCormick who last year won three
gold medals-- Powerlifting, Bench Press, and #1 in the top male
performer. McCormick weighs 215 lbs. and squatted 700 lbs.
