Mayor Rawlings, Councilmembers and other officials to mark
Operation Crackdown progress at Aug. 19 demolition

What:    Mayor Mike Rawlings and Dallas City Councilmembers Adam McGough and Tiffinni A. Young will join and other local and state officials to mark the demolition of another vacant house in the City of Dallas. The demolition is part of Operation Crackdown, the Texas National Guard’s Counterdrug Program to help reclaim neighborhoods from illegal drug activity and associated violence.

To date, the Guard has demolished more than 1,300 structures in 24 communities statewide.
