Did you know that the average American home loses 14% of their water use to leaks? Attend our no cost, hands-on workshop to learn how you can perform do-it-yourself minor repairs to save water and help lower your water bill. Below are some of the topics that will be covered at the workshop:

• Checking for leaky toilets and faucets
• Replacing toilet flapper valves
• Fixing leaky faucets
• Installing faucet aerators and low-flow showerheads
• Water Conservation tips

Joshua Knickerbocker, a licensed plumber with Dallas Water Utilities will be the instructor.

After the main presentation there will be stations with hands-on displays where one can change a toilet flapper valve, install a low-flow showerhead, change a faucet cartridge and install a faucet aerator.
