12th Annual Trinity River Levee Run and “All Out Trinity”

The area by the Dallas Continental Bridge and West Dallas Gateway, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the Trinity River will be going all out for the 12th Annual Trinity River Levee Run and All Out Trinity on Saturday, March 5, 2016. The event brings thousands of runners, sports enthusiasts and entire families to the Trinity River to enjoy the diverse activities planned for the first Saturday in March. Go ahead and mark this date on your calendar and join us to kick, jump, run, skate, stretch, pose, bike, walk, shop, and eat.
12th Annual Trinity River Levee Run
The day kicks-off with a brand new event the Inline Skate at 7:00 a.m., followed by the Trinity River Levee Run Opening Ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Next at 8 a.m., runners will take their places for the 10K and 5K races featuring the Glenn Carter Safety Challenge.
The run includes a 10K, 5K, and 1 mile fun walk/run. This legacy event features an USATF Certified Course designed by the Dallas Running Club and Luke’s Locker, chip timing and technical running shirts. The event also incorporates the Glenn Carter Safety Challenge, an annual friendly race challenge between the Dallas Fire-Rescue and Dallas Police Departments.
Participants still have time to dust off their running shoes and register. Registration and detailed information is available at www.allouttrinity.com. Registration is $35 for the 5K and $45 for the10K for non-members, Dallas Running Club members receive $5 off the 5K and $10 off the 10k. For those who wish to register the morning of the run, they may do so from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at the event site and the fee will be $45 - $55. The Trinity River Levee Run is produced by the Trinity Commons Foundation, Dallas Running Club and the City of Dallas with long-time race supporter Luke’s Locker.
All Out Trinity
The fitness and fun continues from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. at All Out Trinity. A dog and family friendly event that features a variety of fitness level activities and shopping all day long. At this event the public will have a chance to participate or watch a variety of sports events on the Continental Avenue Bridge and West Dallas Gateway and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Come out for the Gravelthon, Yoga on the Bridge, RAFT Marketplace, K9 Paloosa, Dallas Police Athletic League (PAL) kids boxing exhibition, and other action. This exciting collection of fitness activities is produced by the Trinity Commons Foundation and the City of Dallas.
