Scams Targeting Taxpayers

We recently became aware of a scam involving mailings falsely claiming to represent the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.

If you receive one of these mailings, please do not provide your personal confidential credit card or bank information.

If you suspect any correspondence from our agency is fraudulent, please notify us by emailing stop.spoofing@cpa.texas.gov.
