On Tuesday, Jan. 24, the Comptroller’s office will offer a free taxpayer seminar in Houston from 6 to 9 p.m. The seminar will take place at the Comptroller’s Houston Southwest Field Office, located at 7011 Harwin Drive, Suite 186.
During the seminar, taxpayers can learn how to properly fill out sales tax forms, filing and paying taxes electronically and e-services to help taxpayers manage their accounts online. Comptroller representatives will be available to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.
“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible. Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides much needed expert guidance,” said R.J. DeSilva, spokesperson for the Comptroller’s office.
