The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Presents: The State Use Program Overview and South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind Tour (Corpus Christi) TWC administration will moderate a two-hour overview and a Lighthouse for the Blind tour for state use coordinators, procurement and/or contract management professionals to ensure agency compliance with procurement laws pertaining to the State Use Program. The overview will cover TWC responsibilities and duties; discussions on compliance with state use procurement laws; use of Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped (TIBH), Inc.; and the monthly Exception Report. Participants who attend this session are eligible for two hours of continuing education procurement training credits.
