The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Presents: The State Use Program Overview and Horizon Industries (East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind) Texas Workforce Commission administrators will moderate a two-hour overview and a Lighthouse for the Blind tour for state use coordinators, procurement and/or contract management professionals to ensure agency compliance with procurement laws pertaining to the State Use Program. The overview will cover TWC responsibilities and duties, discussions on compliance with state use procurement laws, use of Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped (TIBH), Inc., and the monthly Exception Report. Participants who attend this session are eligible for two hours of continuing education procurement training credits.
