After the Storm Community Giveaway Saturday — Memphis Families, Volunteers & Donations Needed

Memphis has been through a lot over the last few days.

The severe storm that moved through our city left thousands of families without power, damaged homes and property, disrupted schools, spoiled food, and created unexpected needs for families across our community.

Now it’s time for us to come together.

Urban Promise 901, in partnership with The Word Church Memphis, is hosting an:

AFTER THE STORM COMMUNITY GIVEAWAY

Saturday, August 29, 2026

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

449 Patterson Ave. | Memphis, TN 38126

We will be distributing FREE household goods, hygiene products, personal-care items, and other essential supplies to individuals and families in our community.

IF YOU NEED HELP — COME.

There is no shame in needing a little help after a storm like this. If you or someone you know could benefit from household or personal-care items, please come Saturday between 2:00 and 4:00 PM.

And please forward this email or share the attached flyer with a family who may need it.

IF YOU CAN SERVE — VOLUNTEER.

We need volunteers!

Volunteers should arrive at 12:00 PM to help us unload, organize, prepare, and distribute items to the community.

Individuals, families, college students, churches, organizations, businesses, fraternities, sororities, and community groups are all welcome to serve.
