In Collierville, there are no friends as loyal to the library as the Friends of the Library. In June, Collierville Burch Library Director Lisa Plath welcomed the Friends of the Library to a special luncheon to thank them for their fundraising efforts. Since 2001, they have donated more than $450,000 to the Library.
Looking to the future, the Friends have an ambitious goal as part of a capital campaign to raise funds for the planned Library expansion.
Have you tried the Collierville Burch Library's new outdoor book drop? By placing items in the return slot one at a time, each of your items is automatically checked in. You'll see verification on the screen. Once inside, items are automatically sorted into bins by the automated materials handler (AMH). The new book drop is open even when the Library is closed.
Check out this fun video for a tour of book drop do's and don'ts!
