This time of year often brings afternoon showers, and the Town wants to make sure you have the most up-to-the-minute, accurate information about this year’s Independence Day Celebration.
Rescheduling the event is often a "game time" decision. If there is severe weather and the event is rescheduled, the Town will announce the date change multiple ways:
What can I bring with me?
Due to the limited space in Cox Park, there are only 12 food vendors available to feed the 20,000 people who attend this event - expect long lines! We recommend packing a picnic.
We also suggest bringing plenty of water for everyone in your party.
Bring chairs, picnic blankets, and anything else you need to stay cool and comfortable.
