Do you need help filing your taxes? AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide volunteers will be at the library Tuesdays, February 7 to April 11, 2023 in the Halle Room.
February is Random Acts of Kindness Month! In celebration, the Library is partnering with the Collierville Animal Shelter to promote Random Acts of Kindness for Animals with a special poster contest for youth in 2nd to 12th grades. Posters will be judged based on appearance and creativity, and winners and their families will be invited to the Library for award presentations.

Enjoy a warm bowl of chili from Firehouse Subs as you learn how to protect your home or business from fires with presenters from Collierville Fire and Rescue. This program for adults will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. Registration is required.
No valentine? No problem! We all have important relationships to celebrate. Youth in grades 5 to 12 are invited for a night of activities and crafts highlighting friends, family, and themselves. Treats will be served, and registration is required.
Bring a friend or meet new ones as we celebrate Valentine's Day with a relaxing afternoon tea accompanied by easy crafts. Adults ages 18 and up. We will be making a decorative pom-pom garland using yarn and hot glue, and Valentine's cards using scrapbook paper, rubber stamps, and a variety of embellishments. Registration is required.
Janani Prakash, who published her first book in 2022 at the age of 13, will speak about her debut novel, her writing process, and the inspirations behind her writing, which include the Collierville Burch Library. Janani is a student at West Collierville Middle School. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Registration is required.
