Saint Paul Aquatics

Como Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center to open May 23

Como Regional Park Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center will be open for preseason starting Saturday, May 23. Both locations feature splash pads, lap pools, children's pools, diving boards, climbing walls, water slides, concessions, and locker rooms. Como Pool also features a  zip-line and lazy river. Now is a great time to register online for swimming lessons or purchase an aquatics membership.

Preseason Dates:

  • May 23-25, 30-31
  • June 6 & 7

Preseason Hours:

  • Lap Swim: 9:30am-11am
  • Open Swim: 11am-7pm

Admission Rates:

  • Child (<48") $5
  • Adult (>48") $6
  • Family (up to 5 people, $4 for additional members) $20
  • Deck Fee (for non-swimmers) $3

WaterFest

WaterFest

WaterFest is a celebration of clean lakes offering fun, hands-on learning about clean water, wildlife and conservation. Activities include Voyager canoe rides, paddleboarding lessons, kayaking, a fishing contest, geocaching, climbing walls, jump castle, obstacle course, native plant giveaway, WaterArcade, live animals, water games, landscaping, watershed and art exhibits, Farnsworth School Marching Band, music and dance by Center for Hmong Arts & Talent, lakeside yoga and more. Summer Blast

Summer Blast

Summer Blast is a free afternoon program for youth entering grades 1-6 in the fall. Most locations are Monday-Thursday, 1pm-4pm. Activities include crafts, art, tennis, cooking, swimming, gym games, water fun, outdoor nature activities, outdoor play, fitness, kitchen science and more. Partnering with the Saint Paul Public Library, youth are encouraged to keep reading all summer through fun activities and programs. A daily snack is provided.

Where: Saint Paul Recreation Centers (Map)

When: June 15 - August 20, 2015 (Most locations are Monday - Thursday 1pm-4pm)

Ages: Youth must be entering grades 1-6 in the fall.
