What: Join us for fun, food and good conversations about
the pieces of a woman’s heart. The purpose of this retreat is to give young
ladies the opportunity to “navigate” or discuss 3 major components of the
heart; personal or romantic relationships, professional or academic
relationships and relationships regarding friends and family. There will be
phenomenal, accomplished and inspiring young women leading the activities and
sparking those empowering discussions throughout the day. This is part 1 of a 2
part series and truly an event that every young lady (ages 11-17) should
attend.

Who: Boys ages 11-17
When: December 30 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Battle Creek
Recreation Center
Cost: FREE
What: Come out to prove just how good you are! During
winter break, we will be hosting an “all in battle” for young men. We will have
free-throw line competitions, races, rap and poetry battles and so much
more! We’ll even allow you to challenge other participants in battles of your
choice that we haven’t thought of yet! There will be food and music to ensure a
good time. This is a fun event that you don’t want to miss!

Who: Anyone ages 12-15
When: Wednesdays beginning January 8, 2014 at Battle Creek Recreation Center (6 sessions)
Cost: $20.00 (FEE ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE, so don’t
hesitate to sign up! If you have any questions contact us at 651-501-6347).
What: Dance with Devyn is an exciting hip-hop dance class
for anyone ages 12-15 to be a part of. Devyn will teach routines to prepare for
a performance at a later date. If you like the drill team dancing style, then
you’ll love dancing with Devyn!
