Sparky the Sea Lion Adds A Bonus Performance for Independence Day Visitors

Sparky the Sea Lion would like to remind everyone that Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is open 365 days a year, and on July 4th she will put on two performances; 11:30am and 3:00pm.

Now in its 57th year, the Sparky the Sea Lion Show is one of Como’s longest running and most adored traditions. This year’s theme is “Sparky’s Dream World” in which the zoo keepers have fun exploring what Sparky may be dreaming about as she sleeps. Get a rare glimpse into Sparky’s dream world—plentiful food, meeting walruses, visiting the rainforest, and ballroom dancing.

Visit Sparky on her Facebook page before the shows and share some of your patriotic dreams. Sparky will choose a few and share them with the audience.

Sparky’s Dream World runs daily throughout the summer at 11:30am with an additional show at 3:00pm on weekends and holidays.
