Summer Spark Reading!

Summer Spark 2024

Make the library your summer spot with Summer Spark, the Library's summer learning and reading program. Kids and teens can discover the joy of reading for fun all summer long!

To get started, kids and teens can stop in at any Saint Paul Public Library location to pick up their Summer Spark Reading and Activity Log and pick out a free book to keep. Readers can track their reading and discover fun learning activities along the way.

Library staff are happy to help find books for all interests and all ages and reading levels.

Suggested book titles and a calendar of events and programs can be found at  sppl.org/summer. For library hours and locations, visit www.sppl.org or call 651-266-7000.

District 10 Como Community Council Summer Social - June 12

Lake Como Cleanup 2024

Join the D10 Como Community Council on Wednesday, May 8, 6pm at the Como Lakeside Pavilion (1360 Lexington Pkwy) for a summer social! The plan will be to be out on the patio (maybe inside or upstairs depending on weather).

These events are open to all. They provide an opportunity for D10 regulars, veterans, and newcomers to get to know one another outside our formal meetings. This agenda-free meet-up happens between our two monthly meetings on the second Wednesday each month.

Questions? Email district10@district10comopark.org

District 10 provides volunteer t-shirts(!) trash-grabbers, rakes, buckets, nets, trash bags, and nitrile gloves for those who need them. Or, feel free to provide your own gear. Registration (before June 14) is not required, but it helps us plan and communicate if changes come up
