St. Paul Saints Fundraiser for Parks

Support Saint Paul Parks and Recreation at a St. Paul Saints game on July 25! Use password: SPPC to purchase tickets online by July 17. Tickets are $20 with $4 from each ticket benefiting your local parks!

Saint Paul Amazing Race

Solve clues, complete challenges, and compete with other teams to win the Amazing Race: Shipwrecked on Parrot Island!

Begin your journey on a one hour boat ride down the Mississippi River, courtesy of Padelford Riverboats, before competing with other teams in pirate-themed activities at Harriet Island, a.k.a. "Parrot Island". 

This is a free activity and participants each receive a team t-shirt. Lunch and dinner are provided. Youth must be between 7 and 13 years old on the day of the event.  

Registered participants will meet their team at their designated recreation center and be transported to the event site. Participants will be transported back to their team's recreation center for pick-up by 6:30pm.

Water aerobics and Highland Park Aquatic Center

Water aerobics, water walking, and lap swim

Join us for water aerobics and lap swim at Highland Park Aquatic Center and Como Regional Park Pool. Water walking is also available at Como Regional Park Pool. Fee is $8 or included with all-access aquatics memberships. See webpages for hours.

Youth summer programs

Choose from a variety of fun and safe summer programming options for youth. Register today as some camps and activities have limited spots remaining. 

  • Summer camps and activities: Full and half-day camps for youth of all ages. Costs range from free up to $275.
  • Summer Rec Check: Free program for those entering grades 1-6 this fall on Monday-Thursday from 1-4pm at 23 sites. 
  • Summer S'more Fun: $42/day for those entering grades 1-6 this fall on Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm at 3 sites. Limited spots available.
  • Recreation in Motion: Recreation in Motion brings outdoor summer fun to your neighborhood! A free youth program offering athletic programs, arts and crafts, and other organized activities. No pre-registration is required. 
  • Nature Pop-ups: Join the Recreation in Motion team for drop-in hiking, fishing, paddle sports, crafts, games and more! No pre-registration necessary -  just stop by!
Fitness in the Parks yoga class for families

Fitness in the Parks

Fitness in the Parks is a free outdoor exercise program that brings a variety of fitness activities to many of Saint Paul’s beautiful parks. There is no registration required and classes are open to all fitness levels. All ages welcome and no experience is necessary.
