Recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Living free from domestic violence is a basic human right. Yet, one out of every three women in MN will experience domestic violence in their lifetimes.
Our city is the birthplace of the national Blueprint for Safety, which focuses on victim safety, accountability and providing opportunities for real change. And Bridges to Safety, located within the Ramsey County courthouse, operates as a collaboratively run government and community-based Victim Service Center.
We as a community pay tribute to the lives and the courage of the victims of domestic violence, as we recognize October 2022 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
